Another Teen Movie

If you've read the HP books and have half a brain, you will roll your eyes at this most recent HP film. What little action there is takes place between long, awkward "teen moments" of angst, social anxiety, and over-acting (see Lavender's character). What happened to the part of the story were the ENTIRE SCHOOL takes up arms against the Death Eaters? Where was the Order of the Phoenix? Come to think of it, where was the plot?
This sprawling 2.5 hour movie was an incredible let down, no doubt because I loved the last five movies so much, and I thought they'd only get better. But it seems the directors have traded in their allegiance to the original text for some contrived moments of heartfelt teen issues.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
