This movie was a good movie. Tim Burton orginally filmed it in 2D and the decision to make it 3D was made after filming was done.
This was supposed to be a fairly dark themed movie not some jovial fairy tale. This movie definitely had a message yet it didn't spoon feed the message to you.
It's definitely worth going to see either 3d or regular 2d.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
