Huge fan of the books and moives. My eight year old daughter and I couldn't wait to see the final moive. We were not dissappointed. We clapped twice with the rest of the audience (when Neville kills Nagini and when Molly Weasley kills Bellatrix). I never clap at movies. At the end, we wanted to see it all over again. Can't wait to get the DVD.
Ron was protrayed so poorly in this version of the story, if you didn't know the history, you wouldn't be able to see why Hermione was attracted to Ron at all. Also this version played Genny up to be overly strong as in the made up scene of her hiding the book in the Room of Requirement. And, just after the added scene of the Burrow buring down, Harry acted shocked, but Ron didn't. He was all goo-goo eyed over Lavender Brown. His reaction needed to change to match the mood. And in the end scene, Hermione suddenly changed from mourning Dumbledore to joking about Harry and Genny. It's either bad acting or bad scripting. And why wasn't Ron standing beside them?
