My daughter and I are true Harry Potter fans. She has read the series through at least 5 times. We enjoyed the movie immensely. I do wish they would have had the funeral scene in there where the phoenix comes out of the casket! Seeing Fawkes fly away in the end was not the same. You knew it was Fawkes - but the phoenix coming out of the casket made you think Dumbledore was being reborn.
The best part was seeing the book come to life. It was well done considering there was much they could not put in as it would have been a five hour movie! It was worth the wait and it makes us even that much more anxious for the last one. I hear it is in two parts!! WOW!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
