I am a huge fan of the book series, but not of the movies...until now. This movie finally captured the relationship between Dumbledore and Harry and all the humor in the books. I thought it was great storytelling, and the missing parts were, for the most part, well-compensated-for. It'll be interesting to see how the missing characters are compensated-for in the Deathly Hallows movies. I was a bit disappointed in the special effects with the scenery overlooking Hogwarts throughout the movie and especially in the end. It's 2009, we can do better!
