It's a good movie and a must-see if you're a diehard MJ fan, but I think most people would be satisfied watching this on a small screen. The quality of the rehearsal footage that makes up 90% of the movie isn't high enough to justify IMAX. It was great to see MJ rehearse and how he conducted himself, but he's definitely not in his prime and I think most would be fine picking this up from Blockbuster or buying it as a Christmas gift.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
