The entire film was falling action; it didn't make sense to make the last 2/7 of the book its own movie. It was like frosting without substance. The Grindelwald subplot was cut. Percy does not make a reappearance. Harry snaps the Elderwand. There was no Victoire in the Epilogue.
some nice cgi effects and natural scenery, but the 5th one was better. they did ok given the material but the 6th book didn't have a plot to begin with, and in the movie it felt even less like it had a plot. it's a lot better than movies 1 & 2. they don't really keep the original dialogue and i don't know why, and they cut quite a bit out, but they added some random unnecessary scenes, such as one where the death eaters randomly burn down the weasley house and helena bonham carter runs around. overall the movie is good though and i liked it. however they don't do a good job of making the movie accessible to someone who hasn't read the book. it would probably be confusing if you haven't read book 6.
