It would have been better if I had not read the book. The Director had too many deviations from the original text. Like Harry never drank all of the potion, and Harry was stunned by Dumbledore while at the entry to the main building. Dumbledore was killed by Snape at the entrance after a battle inside Hogwarts. At which time Hermione, Ginny and Ron took the balance of the Luck potion. Ron's parents house did not burn down in the book. These discrepancies detracted from what was a very good movie. However, a lot of good action scenes were not made and that was disappointing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
