I loved the first 3/4 of the film. It captures the fun of the books perfectly. The end didn't quite live up to the book, but I never expected it would. The acting is much better in this film than the previous ones. And the characters are more believable. There also seemed to be a lot more hints at things that were in the books but not necessarily explored in the movie. This made me feel like less was cut out of the book than previous movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
