I really enjoyed this movie! The books are always better and the movie can only cover so much in 2 1/2 hours. There were some good action sequences as well as some cool effects. The story was not overshadowed by the action. It's been years since I read the book, but remembered things as I watched the movie since so many parts of the movie remained very true to the book.
At 2 hours in I did look at the clock to see how much longer it would be, but that was more a result of sitting for too long than disinterest in the film. I was surprised there wasn't more about Snape being the DADA teacher. I thought it had a big story line in the book, but it only got a mention in the movie.
