The movie definitely sets you up for the final chapter. It is not recommended for kids under 13. This is a dark side to wizardry. It has some disturbing scenes that would frighten a young child. Gone are the days of the juvenile Harry and gang. These are savvy young adults fighting some pretty scarry beings. The movie did not disappoint on special effects. Fabulous. You had to have followed all the other books/movies in order to pick up on the characters and the action.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Movie is lengthy, but the action keeps you totally engaged. The special effects, as expected, are fabulous. This movie shows more of the mature, sensitive side of the characters....builds on responsibilities and trust with friendships, yet younger viewers will appreciate the wizardry relationships more. If you are a follower of the series and have read the books, you will be better able to understand the dynamics from the start.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
