There is much that is different from the book. Many exciting things from the book were eliminated. Also, the way that Harry is portrayed in the climatic scene deviates significantly from the book. Anyone who truly knows Harry knows he would not react that way in light of the eminent danger to a key character. I enjoyed the humor, and felt the overall tone of the movie was well done. Could have done without the opening scene in the cafe, would have preferred to see Dumbledore collect Harry from the Dursleys as in the book. Bill and Fluer should not have been eliminated from this film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
