Henry Cavill's portrayal of the Kryptonian American hero captured the essence of Jor-El's famous admonition to his son; that he would be different and may feel isolated. Not to mention he made being virtuous sexy again. Superman has been and always will be my favorite super hero and I left the theater satisfied and wanting to come back for more. It was a stark contrast from the previous Superman reboot which left me hollow and admittedly disappointed, especially because I was excitedly rooting for Brandon Routh to capture my imagination. I would trust Zack Snyder with Superman's subtleties for the rest of eternity. Amy Adams is also stunning as Lois Lane and transformed the character into a more capable, yet believable heroine, rather than a damsel in distress. I took the Man of Steel experience with the cinema's Dbox option, which jostled me about through every crash and swoosh of the action. I completely and unequivocally recommend this film and hoping and waiting to soar with the franchise's future films to come!
