At times I stopped breathing

The war movie all others, before and after, will be judged. Phenomenal is a tepid adjective to use when describing "Hurt Locker". Tension so thick a chain saw couldn't even put a nick in it. At times I found myself leaning forward, elbows on kness,holding my breath and wanting/not wanting to see what would follow..
Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie won't have much free time after this, especially Renner. His facial expressions spoke volumes...better than any actor working today...even Sean Penn...could only hope to achieve. And the final scene?
Kathryn Bigelow bettter bring an Marine-issue duffle bag to the Golden Globes and the Oscars. She'll need it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
