Travolta has shown once again that he can act in any situation. He does the bald bad dude well. His transition from the young pretty boy to a Dirty Harry/ mentor or bad guy has been amazing. You forget he is the same man that was in Wild Hogs ( a personal favorite).
Suprizingly good story line though I don't see this one winning any awards but it was very entertaining.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers was a convincing romantic high achiever with the beautiful lover Kasia Smutniak (she is very exotic and strikingly beautiful) she has that "it" quality and will be seen in many roles for sure.
Predictable twists but exciting still the same.

Jim Carrey is a comedic genius and his acting was superb as usual. The story line was hard to follow and that was surprising.
The animation was amazing but even that did not compensate for the tedious pace. Of course the changed Scrooge was wonderful. I guess Jim Carrey did too good of a job making
Scrooge unlikable ( I Guess that is called good acting).

I would recommend the movie to adults but with the caveat of it being slow and too scary for children.

This was a very good film. I had a long day and was tired when I went to see this movie. It kept my attention, was very entertaining. Harrison Ford seemed to be in quite good shape for any age, I didn't feel he was an old actor trying to look young but played to his strengths.
Kate Blanchett was her usual encredible acting genious self, once again you didn't realize it was her after a few moments into the charactor.
Intro of the newest charactor tells you that the torch may be past depending on how this movie is received. Great motorcycle chase scenes that were actually somewhat realistic.
Indiana Jones is the type of movie that with casts of the past could entertain us forever.
I will say I was with a younger couple that didn't quite have my enthusiasm, probably not enough CGI but as one who likes acting as well as special effects that is not all bad.
