I believe this movie probably stuck as close to the book as it could (aside from one major scene change), closer than the other five for sure. They have continually left out details that I think are important in all of the movies and that has not changed. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they covered the major events from the book. If you have read the book it does a good job of bringing the book to life for you, if you are only a movie watcher you may find it lacking in detail. It was my favorite Harry Potter movie yet and I plan to see it again before it leaves theaters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
