The effects were dazzling, the story too thin, the acting non existent. Way too long for such a simple allegory. My college age son said it reminded him of Ferngully, except it had Robin Williams and the story wasn't much better. You can't deny it is an amazing movie to experience but after an hour of ooh ahhh, what's left but so what? Did Jim Cameron curry reviewers time is my big question. How else does the Times give it a non review and a personality puff piece?
