For a remake, it was good but the original cast and the MUSIC was much better. Didn't like the dirty dancing - it was not necessary. Busses vs tractors? I'm all for diversity however Hollywood went over the top being politically correct here. The cast is not believable to the location. The town doesn't allow dancing but would tolerate a bi-racial girl dating a white guy. The story line does not ring true and insults the audience intellignce.
The acting was well done. Willard was my favorite! Would recomend to the yound ones today.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
