Too shallow, too confusing

As someone who has read the entire series, I found this movie, much like the last. Too much of the depth of the story has been forfeit for whatever reasons. Also, my friend who has not read the books was so confused afterwards, that I ended up having to explain a lot about what was going on by filling her in on bits of the back-story that were left out of this and the previous movies. The special effects are very good. The dialogue is ridiculous and weak. The younger actors have a tendancy to speak too quickly and not clearly enough. The older seasoned actors (Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, etc) are absolutely wonderful, especially considering the material they they were given to work with.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
