First Bad movie in the series

I just saw the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and upon hearing from a friend who has read all the books that the story is the same there, just stopped being a fan of J.K. Rowling. First, the story was very choppy and not explained very well in the movie. Second, you don't write a story beginning with and surrounding a main character then just kill him off!!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
