This one was just as good as the others, and who would not see it after seeing the rest. You have to finish what you start. But, I will say, if you had not read the books, it might loose you a bit. Some details, expecially toward the end where hit on so fast (background details) it was hard to follow. I did feel it tended to drag more in this one that in previous movies. I think they felt like it had to be over 1 1/2 hrs so they seems to DRAG it out a bit w/ lots of scenery shots, or shots of expressions. I feel they should of left those bits out and given a slower more details as to background (history) would of been a better use of the time.
QUESTION: Did anyone else notice in final shot w/ Ron and Hermine @ Hogwarts rubble, Harry stood there w/ his eyes shut??? What was up w/ that?
We did see it in 3D and felt is really did not add anything to the movie. Some shots it was noticeable, but for the most part, not necessary. Wish the final battle could of been a bit more .....spectacular. I'm sorry its over, and look forward to getting the Blu-Ray when available. Just like when the Star Wars saga ended, I'm goign to miss it.
I do feel they could to a prequil of James & Lilly Potter @ Hogwarts to keep franchise going. I think there is several books there as well.
I have read all of the books and know that there is n-o way to satisify those who have read the book - there just is no way to make a movie that is a through as the books . I felt like this movie had a couple of problems - 1st - it was too long and slow. 2nd - it was trying to be a romantic comedy. The movie spent more time on the boy-girl relationships vs Harry vs evil. They kept repeating scene (disapearing cabinet) when they could of spent more time on Tom Riddles history or the caved scene or the death scene at the end. I felt like this like a cliff notes version of the book or you could say, a Readers Digest version of the book. Their focus was not on the real meat of the book.
