I ended up seeing it twice this weekend. The second time was because another friend wanted to see it. Now, I enjoyed the movie both times but it didn't surpass the first one. Sequels rarely do! My top 3 scenes were: Liza Minnelli performance, the 4 ladies singing and Carrie at the shoe kiosk. What I LOVED about 2 was the close bond the 4 have, the theme of women having a "voice", the exotic locale, seeing Aidan and Jerrod (not enough though), some of Samantha's funny one-liners and of course the shoes and clothes (very flowey, colorful and rich in textures). I didn't care for the 2 explicit Samantha sex scenes/how vulgar she was or the forced ending of the nanny's status. MPK (writer/director/producer) did an EXCELLENT job. Please pay attention to the dialogue. I recommend you see this movie and decide for yourself. Enjoy!
