Left half way through it

Loved the book and didn't think it would translate well into a film but wanted to see it. What I didn't expect was for it to be so horribly boring and slow and bad! It was painful to watch and half way through it I got up and left. Read the book, don't waste your money on the movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
