I think this movie could be at least 45 minutes shorter. There were too many unnecessary shots of the same thing. There was too much foreshadowing that was over kill. If I hadn't read the book I would have known everything that was about to happen. The beginning dragged a lot and the end was disappointing if you had read the book. A lot of the teenage romance aspects were extremely sappy and could have been a lot more subtle.
There were a lot of moments from the book that were undermined a lot.
This movie was also a lot more visually graphic (scary) than the other movies though which surprised me since it was a PG rating. It was also a lot funnier than the other movies.
