I can actually say that, of all the Twilight movies, this is the one with the best acting. I'm specifically referring to Kristen and Taylor. Also, they did a great job with Kristen's makeup when she was sick and pregnant and "transforming". (Thumbs up!) Of course, if you're a Twilight fan it's a must-see. However, I also think it would be a good movie to see if you weren't a big fan and just wanted to watch a flick. I went to the Friday showing at 10:00am. I paid the pre-matinee price of $6 and avoided all the teens screaming their heads off. Best choice I think I made. :)
I enjoyed this movie. It was the best of all three. Better acting, more action and still true to the book. I think the Director did a good job at describing each of the other characters' backgrounds and histories in the story. And......I liked how Rob wasn't so pasty white, but still hot and vampiry. Taylor, OF COURSE, was also HOT. His acting is also getting better in each movie. I've only watched the first two movies once on the big screen and didn't have the desire to watch them again on video, but this movie............. I can watch again and again, and then get the video and watch it again and again. :)
The movie itself was very true to the book. The director did a great job in portaying all the characters in the author's light. AND the actors (who were HOT!) did a much better job in this movie than they did in Twilight. I guess that would be a good thing for those who enjoyed this particular book. For me, New Moon was my least favorite of the four, so I was HOPING to get a little more action, but, oh well... All in all, I guess if you really liked New Moon - the book, you should have no trouble enjoying New Moon - the movie.
