UP takes kids movie animation to a new level - is it even for kids, really? I took my 6 year old who loved it but sat on my knee for a lot of it, there are several fierce dog scenes which are pretty frightening and a couple of chase scenes which we both found very tense. It was much more touching than I thought it would be and I cried quite a lot, probably more than I laughed. Not quite as funny as I hoped but overall a much better movie than I expected.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
