Not as bad as people say at all...

I went to HP6 opening day with my 7 year old, who has read all the books and I was not dissapointed at all. True, HP purists will find that there are some great parts left out and other parts are radically changed, but overall the movie was enjoyable, funny, frightening, and did not depart from the overall "feel" and "message" of the HP books.don't deprive yourself of the opportunity to just enjoy a good 2 1/2 hour romp. The ONLY scene I would warn parents about is when Harry it attempting to fetch water after Dumbledore retrieved the Horcrux some creatures jump out rather suddenly. I really wouldn't wait for the DVD to come out, the movie was visually spectacular and worth the price of admission.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
