I made the mistake of reading the book first. Regretfully I have read the next book too. I don't recommend reading ahead. I think the movie left out a lot of information. I think they could have played up Harry's romace with Ginny. You missed valuable information in the movie that is in the book. After you see the movie, I recommend you read the book to fill in the missing info.
