While at parts funny, with beautiful imagery, this was not the best of the series thus far. There's one part, you see it in a trailer even, where it appears Harry is swarmed by an army of Gollums. It was still entertaining enough for Mum and I to go to the midnight showing with my eight year old sister without anyone falling asleep in the theatre, but we could have skipped work this morning and seen a first showing for less and avoided much of the crowds.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
