If you loved the book, you will love this movie. It's sad, but that's the where the story takes us, and I am eager for the final installment. This is not a kid's movie (the books never were for children) so don't take little ones.

The movie captured the spirit of the book and was beautifully filmed and edited. I would have been willing to sit through another 15 minutes to get a few more key scenes from the book into the movie but it was already a long movie and choices had to be made.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
