After the last two Harry Potter movies, I wasn't expecting it to be much. The fact is, this movie is amazing, and true to the book in ways I didn't anticipate. Best Harry Potter movie so far, by far! Can't wait for Part 2!

Best of the Series

Blows New Moon out of the water. The music track on the first is the best though, as far as that goes. This movie has a lot more testosterone, so the boys will enjoy it more than the previous installments. Having read the books, this is probably going to be the best as far as that is concerned -- I can't think of a major plot point in Breaking Dawn.

Excellent Portrayal of The Book

This movie is excellent, and is a fabulous representation of the book. Obviously some things needed to be cut out, and the book tells a more complete and emotionally drawing version of the story, but unlike Order of the Phoenix (whose movie I thought horrible in comparison to the book -- so much so I'd nearly recommend not watching movie 5 and simply reading the book in its place), HP6: The Movie did do the book much justice.
