3 friends and I went to see Whip It. Two under 20 and 2 over. We all left feeling the movie was a good way to spend an evening. Although there were points where each of us had a "what is this movie" moment. Watching and learning about a sport we didn't know about was really neat however the relationships in the movie were kind of played out and a little strand. Ellen Page is amazing and it was nice to see her in a role where she smiled more and cared about something. This movie is a good way to spend an evening with friends but it won't change your life.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
