I think it was a good movie, if you don't read the book. The storyline followed the book loosely, but there's just so much detail in the book that you can't fit into a movie. I liked how small pieces of humor were sprinkled throughout because, honestly, as a teenager it IS all about crushes and first love...Lord Voldemort or not. That's very true-to-life. I'll be very interested to see how they do the last two movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
