The first 2/3 of this movie are boring. It moves so slowly and there are lots awkward long pauses that make it obvious this should never have been made into two movies. Renesme (Bella's daughter) is CREEPY. I dont' mean the girl is creepy (though at times she is a little) I mean that HER FACE IS CREEPY. For most of the movie it's clear that they took real little girls actresses at different ages and then CGI'd all of their faces so that looks like the same girl. IT WAS TERRIFYING. Finally the oldest girl/actress comes in and it becomes bearable to look at her. The final battle scene is actually impressive, I was like "Wow this movie is actually surprising me with it's attempt at being badass." And then the WORST TWIST EVER HAPPENS and it just becomes lame again, and that's how it ends. On a very lame and sappy note.

This movie is incredible! It took parts of the book that many people thought were boring or too drawn out and made them so full of life! At the same time they changed ALMOST nothing. (Some of the beginning is different.) I had no idea where they would end this one so that it wouldn't be abrupt and yet they would have enough material for two whole movies, but they nailed it! This movie is funny, scary, shocking, gorgeous, and just completely amazing. I am a tried and true Harry Potter fan and this movie has my fan seal of approval!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Such a good story line and the effects, though amazing, are not the focal point. You really do care about what's happening in the movie. It's almost three hours but you are engrossed the entire time, not looking at your watch.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
