This movie incorporated both the dark and action of the other movies while also allowing a more comical side of all the characters to come out! I loved the plot and was very happy with the total outcome of the movie. I haven't however read the books, so i cannot say it was or wasn't very parallel to the books! SEE IT:]
Yes, I recommend this movie.
