What can I say, the Scream series came back to life. After the third Scream I really didn't know if the series had what it takes to bring out another addition. Whew this one has it all. The opening sequence is awesome, coming down tot he very end, leaving you with a nailbitter to go along with. Wes Craven had always been one of my favorite directors and this movie dosen't dissapoint at all. The new cast paired witht he veteran cast mixes well, and it adds suspense, comedy and horror all to the mix, to have a real life feeling to it. Dewey is always a trip and adding Anthony Roberts to the plot was entertaining too. Scream 4 is a must see, and I hope they they make another.
The movie had a great beggining but it just lacked that extra push to be a good movie. Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite actors but I don't understand why he would want to do a role like this. His character never really was developed and the supporting cast was just mediocre and really didn't have a purpose. I was anticipating this movie for a while which I seen the preview in early 2010 but it wasn't the movie I though it would be.
