I felt that the last two movies were grave disappointments because i got the feeling that they were just running through the story at full tilt, trying to get to the end as fast as they could. My expectations weren't incredibly high when I went in but I was very pleased to be surprised when it drew me in. Although it didn't follow the book exactly, the movie was overall incredible. I highly recommend seeing it.
