Slightly Disappointed

After seeing the movie, I left the theater feeling disappointed. I know that changes must be made, but I did not expect the dramatic changes made to the plot. Major characters were missing, important details left out, and where was the real fight scene at the end. All the past versions are fairly close to the books, but this one seemed to stray quite a bit .
Never reading the books, my husband liked it and thought it was very entertaining. He did believe that Snape was related to Voldemort. The movie did not really explain why Snape's nickname was the H-BP.
Overall, the director was too concerned with the boy/girl relationships than focusing on the meat of the story, therefore missing the mark on best parts of the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
