I was very excited walking into the movie theater, because it's been awhile since i've read the books but i enjoyed them thoroughly. As soon as the movie started i remembered alot of what I liked. Although the movie was good, I was slightly disappointed with the amount of information the cinematographers left out or changed. It's understandable considering they were trying to cram a whole book into a little over 2 hours.
The way the movie was shot was amazing, and each of the characters and special effects maximized the viewing experience, and went along well with the parts of the book that they mirrored.
The books are always better than the movies, but I think that in this production they did a fairly good job with what they had.
