As a reader of the series I would have to say I was very disappointed. I now realize why they didn't release the movie after the summer of the Dark Knight. It lacked a real plot and to be honest was relatively boring. I felt sorry for the people who watched it who have never read the book. It seems since about the 3rd film they (HP, RW, and HG) have been the same age. Lupin got about 2 minutes of screen time? And Quidditch was terrible. It seems as if this film blinded many people by its use of comedy. Not enough magic nor dark magic. When you read the book you can feel the intensity of the Death Eaters/Voldemort and their wrath. Bellatrix held her end though I will say. All in all disappointed that we waited 8 extra months for this :(
No, I do not recommend this movie.
