The HP 6 movie is a let-down for any who liked the plot set down by the book. Of course it is difficult to portray characters' thoughts, budgets are finite, and the movie can not account for everything. However, my issue was that seriously altered scenes and scenes not present in the books were used. Plot lines, characters, and story chronology were unnecessarily warped, making the movie less enjoyable.
Another audience to consider is those who have seen only the movies, and not read the books. To that audience, the movie was a solid representation of the story laid forth by the previous films. There was intrigue, romance, and action to engage viewers, all along a definite storyline, with excellent visual effects to boot.
