The IMAX screen is definitely the most appropriate venue for this movie. The 3D was awesome and all the effects were just amazing. The floating mountains and all the wildlife really amazed me. It's a great story - capturing business, environmental, armed forces and a touching love story.
We were ready to buy more tickets and see it again immediately if we hadn't had to get home to relieve the baby sitter!

Too much was lost...

While the movie was great for what it was, they just left too much of the book's detail out of the movie! I was very disappointed that the climax of the movie wasn't nearly as exciting as it was in the book - they left so much out!
It still had great effects and great acting, though!
