Boys are Hot, Bella's a little dead

New Moon was exciting and sexy throughout - the boys were both smoldering and rocking. For the first time I actually like Jacob as a character. Taylor Lautner brought something new and different to Jacob as a character - and it comes out much more likeable and much less whiney than Jacob in the books. They also took out some of his character's less flattering scenes.
The one thing I didn't really love about the movie was Bella. For some reason, she just seems a bit dead (and yes for part of the movie that's part of the plot) - but for the scenes when I really wanted her to BRING it, she just didn't really do that. For the scene that should have been the pinnacle of emotion/the climax of the movie, she blew it a little bit.
