This movie was a horrible betrayal of one of my favorite books of all time. Vital parts of the story were left out (the memory of the Gaunts, the memory of Hokey the house elf which leads us to the conclusion that Hufflepuffs cup is a horcrux, Harry finds out that it was Snape who originally brought the prophecy to Voldemort, Dumbledore's funeral to name a few). And they botched several scenes they did include, like Aragog's buriel, Dumbledore's death, and when Harry hides the Half Blood Prince's potions book he does not see Ravenclaws diadiem (another horcrux) As someone who grew up with Harry Potter, I was utterly dissapointed at how this movie mocks one of my favorite books.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
