Not as Dark as the Book

I thought it was really good, though the "love interest awkwardness" was a bit overdone. Also it portrayed the book in a happier light so avid book readers may feel it kind of ruined the tone that was portrayed in the book. Other than that it was definitely one of the best directing and acting we have seen thus far. Helena Bonham Carter was her usual phenomenal self.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
