I honestly do not get the appeal of this movie or of this book series, which I have read. The acting in the movie is mediocre, the story is ridiculous, and the relationships portrayed are really, really dysfunctional. One redeeming factor is the scenery, which is beautiful.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
