I kept a very open mind going into this movie. I didn't want to tell myself that it was going to suck right off the start and I'm glad I didn't. I very much enjoyed Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. As are all Harry Potter movies, it was lengthy and a little hard to follow if you hadn't been keeping up with the books or the other movies. I felt the special effects were wonderful and amazing to watch. There were certain scenes I had expected to see once I had read the book and was delighted when I saw them in the movie. There was even a great deal of humor to keep everyone awake! Overall I would say the movie excellently depicted the important need-to-know items from the book. I plan on seeing it again.
