I am a huge HP fan, and to say that I was looking forward to this movie would be an understatement. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. There was a lot more humor / teen angst in this movie than I expected, but it worked very very well. The effects and camera techniques were spot on and very interesting. Though the plot did stray from the book at times, I felt this movie did a good job at taking in a LOT of information. Naturally, a few things were going to be left out, but I was very thrilled by how much was left in. This is one of the few movies where I was happy it was over two hours long; I just didn't want it to end. It was awesome.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
