2012 had some spectacular special effects, but the movie itself was a total let down. I have looked forward to all Roland Emmeich's movies and the only one I was not disappointed in was Independance day. I had a glimmer of hope for 2012, but it fell through the cracks just like Downtown L.A. did in the movie. The limo scene as they escape L.A.'s destruction? lets be realistic. All the marketing for this movie was a waste of time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
