If you loved the books like I have and actually read them then this movie will leave you wishing they could have stayed true to it. As a movie that the unread public will go and see it is visually amazing, funny, and exciting.
Unfortunately, it unforgivably strays from the book in too many areas, actually leaving out parts and adding things that the author never wrote into the story. This leaves me with an ominous feeling for the butchery that will no doubt happen in the next and last 2 movies?
As most people I know have not read this book they feel it's the best yet. But, if they only knew how good the books were...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
